I was born in Stockholm, Södermalm, at the summer of 1989.
My parents, an architect and an actress, gave me a passion for creating things, trying new ideas and has made me believe anything is possible as long as you give it your best shot.
At 13 I did an intership at a music video production company called Flatfish 2, and I was hooked. I since then knew I wanted to make films.
So as an 18 year old graduate I was drafted for the military service. I did not want to go so me and my friend took off, and got on a plane to Dublin, Ireland.
Both of us ended up getting jobs at IBM and for one year I was a first line support, taking calls from Svenskt Näringsliv and the Swedish Post Service whenever their computers did not work.
When I came back to Sweden I had saved up some money and decided to go to film school. I was determined to become a film director but dropped off after the first year to work on a feature film as a lighting technician. I freelanced at multiple commercials, music videos and short films and was making my own music videos in my spare time.
After the first winter working on set, freezing my ass off, putting in 14 - 16 hours a day a I wanted a change. Or an office. So I got a job at a production company Fasad film, as an editing assistant.
